UK BlackBerry Storm OS 5.0 update coming confirms RIM

Apparently there have been claims that the BlackBerry OS 5.0 update is being held back by Research In Motion according to an article over on The Mirror.

Now word has it that the Canadian BlackBerry smartphone maker has hit back with a denial stating that the BlackBerry Storm OS 5.0 update will be rolled out to existing BlackBerry Storm smartphone users by the end on 2009.

So there it is, official from RIM that the major BlackBerry update which delivers improved browsing and typing should hit BlackBerry Storm handset by the end of the year, hopefully in time for Christmas?

WHAT A JOKE! Its ten months to late already. The device should never have been released in the first place with such a unstable software. I will never buy another blackberry\rim device again.
