The Ooma Telo handset is apparently so new it’s not available on the Ooma website yet, but apparently features DECT 6.0 technology which delivers superb sound quality and range, and is a cordless VoIP phone.
The Ooma Telo DECT 6.0 Cordless VoIP handset has been specifically designed for Ooma and enables the user to take advantage of all advanced features Ooma offers and compares the Ooma Tele as if you think of your old handset as an AM radio then the Ooma Telo is a digital radio.
They also say that if Ooma Telo is the future of phone service then they are fairly sure the handset is the future of the home phone itself.
Apparently although you can’t actually purchase the Ooma Telo from Ooma you can get it via Best Buy and Amazon which currently have the Ooma Telo priced at around $50.
