Hot news, an Android 2.1 ROM loaded on HTC Hero smartphone included leaks of many different codenames for HTC’s current and future Android powered devices. The names included Bahamas, Bravo, DesireC, Dragon, Dream and many many more.

Now must of us are already fully aware that Hero has already been released and launched in the market, and others such as Sapphire, Dream and Desire, are also there. (although launched as the HTC Magic, T-Mobile G1 and Droid Eris).

Recently details of the said HTC Espresso were found leaked on the web, and that the Espresso comes with an ARMv6 processor clocked at 528MHz reportedly. It is also stated that it is a GSM version of the HTC Hero that also includes a 320×480 pixel display and a full QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode.

What is rather interesting though is that we have HeroCT and HeroC. Are these the successors of the HTC Hero? and what of the codename Dragon ? Does this refer to a HTC device that will be driven by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon ? Only waiting patiently will give us the answers we are so eagerly awaiting.
