The successor to the Acer Liquid, the Android packing Acer Liquid e handset is apparently heading for Canada in the sprint and will be exclusive to Rogers Wireless reports an article over on mobile syrup.

As you are probably aware Acer unveiled the Acer liquid e handset during Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, and sports a 3.5 inch WVGA HD touch screen, 5 megapixel camera with video, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, Qualcomm 768MHz Snapdragon processor, and 3.5mm jack.

The Acer Liquid e measure 116 x 54 x 12.75mm with a weight of 135 grams and sports microSD expansion up to 32GB and runs the Android 2.1 operating system.

The exec VP of marketing for Rogers, John Boynton has said Rogers is very excited to exclusively bring the Acer Liquid e to Canadian consumers and adding further to our already impressive Android line-up.
