Android 3.0 Details Made Up Says Morrill

In what seems to be a Twitter response to Eldar Murtazin’s outing of the details of Android 3.0 Gingerbread, Android’s Dan Morrill has done a bit of tweeting of his own which basically points to Murtazin’s Android 3.0 details being made up.

According to an article over on Engadget by Ross Miller, Dan Morrill, the Open Source and Compatibility Tech Lead for Android, posted a couple of tweets on the subject of Android 3.0 info which stated “I love it when people just make stuff up.”

The Android head then tweeted, “rumors are not official announcements.” Now of course all this could be hastily trying to cover the leaked Gingerbread details, but apparently for now anyway, that’s to official stance on the matter.

One does have to say though that Eldar Murtazin does have a remarkable reputation for being on the money when it comes to this sort of thing, so for now you can decide for yourselves whether the Android 3.0 Gingerbread details are true or not, at least until Google gets all officially.
