If you are the proud owner of the Asus Transformer Prime and want to take the rooting route with your Android slate, up until now gaining root on the device was quite technical; however rooting your Transformer Prime has now got a whole lot easier with the availability of a new single click solution.

According to the guys over at Android Authority, Viperboy of XDA-developers forums, has come up with a one click solution to rooting the Asus Transformer Prime and is called the viperMOD Primer, which enables the user to root and unroot with a single click.

Developed by TeamAndIRC and jcase, viperMOD Primer is only available for Windows at the moment and is based on the NachoRoot tool, but apparently a Linux version should be available soon.

So here’s that easy to follow one click Asus Transformer Prime root guide…first off download the viperMOD Primer to your PC, you can grab the zip file from HERE, next extract the zip and install the drivers. Now connect your Transformer Prime and once the drivers are installed run “viperMOD Primer Tool.exe” and a screen will launch where you will see values for root (1) unroot (2) and Exit (3) simply select the desired option and you are done.

The viperMOD Primer also includes a function that allows the tool to a fresh copy of NachoRoot every time you run the root process so any available updates are included when you root your tablet so you’ll always be up to date.

Apparently viperboy has tested the root tool over 30 times and it is in perfect working order, although it isn’t know if viperMOD Primer works with Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
