As you know, Siri is only for the iPhone 4S but that doesn’t mean if you own a previous iPhone or an Apple iPad you can’t have a virtual assistant on your iOS device as there will be an app for that called Voice Answer, an app that lets you chat with a virtual assistant, ask it any question and the robotic assistant will speak the answer.

The important thing about Voice Answer is that it works on all iPhone handsets and Apple iPad units and the user can ask it a question on any topic by talking or writing and ‘Eve’ will answer in a clear voice.

Voice Answer will display the question and then connect to relevant Internet sources with the main source being Wolfram Alpha, and depending on the answer additions info will be delivered such as images.

With the Voice Answer apps for iOS the user can also enable a Chatbot feature whereby you can have a chat with Eve on any topic but don’t expect Eve to deliver 100 percent correct answers in Chatbot.
