According to the guys over at Uswitch, the Sony Xperia P will be available to purchase as an unlocked and SIM free handset from Clove at a price of 330-quid and has the availability date for the Android handset set at the 7th of May.

However, if you would prefer to snap up the Sony Xperia P from UK online retailer Expansys, they are offering the Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone for just a tad more at £339, although they don’t state an actual availability date, but you can place a pre-order right now.

Those unlocked and SIM free prices should equate to roughly an contract price of 20-25 quid a month when signing on for the usual two-year term went the Sony Xperia P hits UK carriers.
