It’s no secret that most of us in the tech world and indeed many avid consumers, are expecting the release of the Galaxy S3 (Galaxy S III) soon after the big unveil. This is expected at an event in London on May 3 and today we have news of an intriguing Samsung tease of the Next Galaxy and a live countdown page where we’ll hopefully learn something worth hearing.

To clarify, we cannot say for sure that this countdown is to do with the Galaxy S3 as the invitations for the May event stated it was for the “next Galaxy S” whereas this countdown page simply states the “next Galaxy.” This could be for another Galaxy device then but hopefully we’ll find out exactly what in less than four hours time. Samsung is using some clever marketing to hook us in and get us intrigued and used its official Twitter account to post this tweet, “Destination: tgeltaayehxnx.”

Anagram lovers may have already worked this one out as ‘the next galaxy’ and to add to the intrigue a domain page with the same anagram has also been established by Samsung. It’s this page that teases us that something will be revealed shortly, with the words ‘coming soon — you can take the next step in’ and then the countdown time which as I write currently reads 3 hours, 20 minutes and 33 seconds, so not long at all until we reach that next step. This news was brought to our attention by the Sammy Hub sourced from here and of course we’ll be following developments closely in a bid to find out more about the ‘Next Galaxy.’ As we said, we can’t be sure what device this is yet but many will be hoping it’s something to do with the Galaxy S3, perhaps the first official video, or a previously unseen image.

Basically, Samsung reveal letters, which you have to select in order to move on – Spell out “THENEXTGALAXY” once this has been done it says “Looks like we’ve got a live one here! Go on, you’ve earned it” you will click this message to move you on.
