New 3D holographic iPhone video masterpiece

The mobile space is moving forward in leaps and bounds what with 3D technology now available on a few smartphone, but will Apple every embrace the 3D holographic tech for their iPhone or Apple iPad? Probably most of the iOS faithful hope that one day Apple will start catching up with others and eventually bring holographic 3D to their devices, but if Apple did bring 3D tech to the iPad or iPhone would it be as good as one would expect or even better?

Well what we have here for your viewing consideration below is a video from 3D artist Mike Ko, who is based in L.A, which gives his idea on what 3D holographic on the iPhone would look like, and we have that footage courtesy of the guys over at Cult of Mac.

In the video footage you will see such things as holographic buildings and miniature cars zipping along the display in all their 3D glory, and one does have to say that this little video that last just 23-seconds is quite a video masterpiece.

According to the 3D artist, it took him some three months to complete as his graduation project for Otis Collage of Art and Design, using Maya, Pftrack and After Effects for all of the 3D animations and shot the footage using a Canon T2i.

Anyway enough from me, I’ll simply let you head on down to mash that play button and check out the iPhone Diorama video for yourself so you can make up your own mind, but doesn’t this make every one of the iOS faithful out there want to have this on their iDevice…enjoy.
