LG G Pro 2 fails to shine in benchmarks

#

In mid-February the LG G Pro 2 smartphone was announced and will release to various regions over the next few weeks and months. Now benchmark testing has been conducted on a retail-grade edition of the phone, and although it performed well enough, the LG G Pro 2 failed to shine.

The G Pro 2 has some very decent specs, so we were interested to see how it fared in performance benchmarking. It should be said though that these kinds of tests are not always a true indicator of a device’s power and speed.

Nevertheless we were intrigued to see how the G Pro 2 performed, and surprisingly the phone had a pretty hard job trying to keep up with the standard of the LG G2 flagship that released last year. It does manage to achieve scores that you might expect, but nothing so seriously impressive that it would blow us away.

Take a look at all of the Quadrant, AnTuTu, GFX Bench and Basemark X results, and how the G Pro 2 compared with some other top handsets at the source link below this post and tell us what you think. Are you surprised or not that the LG G Pro 2 didn’t fare better?
