HTC One M8 vs HTC One video comparison gives verdict

#

It has been almost a week now since HTC took the wraps of its new flagship mobile phone, and today we have a HTC One M8 vs. HTC One video comparison for your viewing pleasure that provides a verdict.

We have already given you a spec comparison between the two handsets as well as a video looking at what’s new, but today’s YouTube video is comparing the handsets side by side and comes courtesy of Phone Arena.

The video is almost 14 minutes long and begins by comparing the designs of the respective handsets, and comments that the new HTC One M8 now has more metal. The body of the new handset is now made up of 90% metal compared to 70% of its predecessor.

Again the HTC One M8 is preferred when it comes to being held in the hand which is down to the increased curvature of the device. We get a run through the various specifications of the two devices, and despite the higher pixel density of the HTC One you would be hard pushed to notice any difference when the devices are placed side by side.

Although it is noted that the new display has been improved in many ways over last year’s handset, while the buttons and ports are also compared. There is a look at the differences in the software which is HTC Sense 6.0 as both handsets are running Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The video continues on by looking at the camera technology but it isn’t felt that there have been improvements over last year’s model, although the use of the secondary camera is shown.

Are you impressed with the HTC One M8?
