Apple and Verizon possible partnership with iPhone Deal
This rumour has flared up again as usatoday report Verizon Wireless and Apple Inc are in talks over a possible Apple iPhone coming to the Verizon network possibly next year according to some close to the situation.
If Verizon does gain their own Apple iPhone version it would be the first CDMA iPhone rather than GSM which AT&T uses.
Verizon entered negotiations with Apple over the iPhone a few months ago and since then the rumour has been Verizon will eventually snag themselves a CDMA version iPhone and thus break the AT&T exclusivity deal with Apple which would undoubtedly be a big loss for AT&T who are currently trying to get that exclusivity extended.

If this is true, I’ll gladly give up some firstborns for a Verizon iPhone. Not my own, but I’m sure I could dig up someone else’s.
