The latest patent strike from Nokia against Apple does underscore the fast changing dynamics of the cell phone market with the leader losing its grip over rivals in terms of product development.

Nokia increased the heat on Tuesday with a very new patent challenge against the iPhone maker, the chances of a tit for tat response is expected from Apple.

Some would say this is a desperate move by Nokia as it has been in the mobile handset market for long enough and has more patents than Apple therefore it is quite likely that Apple to some extent has actually used some of Nokia’s patents and maybe even some others for that matter too.

Nokia allege that Apple infringes its patents in virtually all of its mobile phones, portable music players and computers sold. Nokia are expecting that the ITC will decide whether or not to pursue the case in around 30 days. To read more on this story simply visit reuters.com
