BlackBerry: Not just for business

The word BlackBerry conjures up an image of a smart business person tapping away at his BlackBerry looking incredibly busy.

However of late, more and more consumers are buying the BlackBerry not for business but for personal use, with great entertainment functions, video and audio content, the BlackBerry has become anybody’s choice.

With TiVo announcing a partnership with BlackBerry, it encourages more consumers to follow the BlackBerry brand. Although all smartphones are doing well on nearly every platform, the biggest winner would have to be RIM, I have posted a graph which shows you the market share in the second quarter of 2008.
