Apparently AT&T Inc has plans to eventually link the Apple iPhone to their high speed internet and video service named U-verse, and then plans to introduce new features such as using the Apple iPhone as a remote control.

John Donovan, AT&T Chief Technology Officer, says: “We’re looking at the whole landscape, of what people use, and what’s out there in the home.”

ATT&T held an event on Monday to showcase the recently developed technologies which are not being marketed at the moment, and AT&T emphasised the futures should bring more interesting ways in the way customers use their mobile phones.
