Logitech has introduced quite a nifty and stylish omnidirectional speaker alarm clock, which also serves as a dock for the Apple iPhone and Apple iPod.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus omnidirectional speaker for iPod or iPhone provides a protected cavity or the Apple iPhone, and will support the original iPhone as well as the iPhone 3G.

Vice president and general manager of Logitech’s audio business unit, Mark Schneider, says: “Our latest iPod speaker docks are designed to suit each person according to their individual needs, whether what’s wanted is enhanced audio and portability or an alarm clock with innovative features such as motion sensing.”

The Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus omnidirectional speaker for iPod or iPhone becomes available in October with a price tag of $99.99.
