Motorola RAZR3 Ruby bites the dust

A bit of sad news for all you Motorola fans who were expecting to grab hold of the new Motorola RAZR, the Motorola RAZR3 Ruby, it’s not going to happen.

Yes, the Motorola RAZR3 Ruby that was talked about back in September had bitten the dust; Motorola has pulled the plug and cancelled the production.

The reason, well at a guess, as the Motorola RAZR3 Ruby was on Symbian UIQ and since Motorola’s shift and reorganisation of its mobile department is now dropping Symbian in favour of Android, into the mobile bin goes the RAZR3 Ruby.

So if you are a RAZR fan I guess you better start looking for another handset if you were thinking of upgrading to the Ruby.

Does anyone really care about Motorola handsets anymore? The company is a disgrace in the same manner as General Motors. Motorola had a chance of going on a long-term roll starting with the RAZR, but gave up on follow-up products and screwed up all chances to stay on top. Now Motorola sadly lags behind countless other handset companies from overseas. Useless companies get acquired and employees get fired. All to no avail. They had a chance to make headway in China years ago and blew that opportunity.

Motorola is hardly a relevant company as far as cellphones go. They’re just followers and poor ones at that. Such a useless division that nobody even wanted to buy it out. That’s pretty low. At least the executives got rich, but stole everything from employees and investors alike. A truly despicable company.
