It looks like the States is about to get a double helping of Samsung 8 megapixel cameraphone as the word is that the Samsung M8800 Pixon smartphone is not only on its way to T-Mobile USA but also heading for AT&T.

The FCC has approved the Samsung

T929 and been dubbed Memoir, and are currently busy with another version of the model, the M8800L which is obviously destined for AT&T.

The AT&T version is dual band 3.5G on 850/1900MHz while the T-Mobile Memoir is 1700MHz HSDPA. However there is one major difference between both, on the Memoir the camera flash has moved position and shape, but everything else spec-wise remains faithful to the original.
