Video: Android T-Mobile G1 gains virtual keyboard?

The word is with the arrival of the Google Android “Cupcake” update there will be several enhancements, one of which will include video recording. However “Cupcake” apparently also brings what appears to be an on-screen QWERTY keyboard to the T-Mobile G1.

Furthermore a video of the virtual QWERTY keyboard has popped up on YouTube so we’ve grabbed it for you here and can be viewed below.

With the addition of this virtual keyboard to the T-Mobile G1 it means there is no need to slide out the physical QWERTY simply to send a short text. The video show a black full QWERTY being used in the Google search bar at the home screen and throughout the native browser.

there is already an onscreen qwerty keyboard. If you download “chomp SMS” in the market but that is only for text(sms) this keyboard will be for any use which is muthafukin great
    Can’t wait for this shit
