Apple iPhone steps back to the 60s with iLava app

Ah remember the late 60’s and the arrival of the iconic tabletop lava lamp? Well it’s back in the groove but this time on an iconic mobile phone, the Apple iPhone.

iLava for the iPhone is an application from New York based Gotham Wave Games, and let’s the iPhoner interact with virtual globs of floating wax and push them around the iPhone screen with their finger, and can be done whilst listening to music.

One would imagine one would have to be a fan of the lava lamp to want this application, because that’s all it does. iLava for the iPhone isn’t a productive app but more of a time passer when waiting for a bus or train or whatever, and is available via the App Store for $0.99.
