Virgin Mobile survey: Canadians prefer mobile to partner on Valentines

Only a couple of days to go to Valentines Day, so what would you prefer to hold on that day of love, your girl or your mobile phone? One would have though the answer was obvious, but apparently not in Canada.

Virgin Mobile Canada ran a survey of the 4th and 5th of February 08 where they asked 1000 people between the ages of 18 and 34 if they would rather hold their partner or mobile phone on that special day.

The results showed that 56 percent of Canadian asked would prefer to hold their mobile phone while 40 percent would rather give up Valentines Day before their mobile phone, and 52 percent carry their mobile phone all the time.

So, do you feel the same way, would you rather hold your phone than your partner on Valentines Day?

    Hi there!

Thanks for posting the news of the Valentine’s Day poll release we issued for Virgin Mobile this week.

Just wanted to let you know that the survey was conducted Feb 4-5, 2009, not 2008.

    Thanks again!
