Last week images of the Microsoft Zune HD were leaked onto the net waves, and now apparently Microsoft is auditioning 3 major advertising agencies for the launch of a new mobile service they are calling “Pink”, which is apparently the codename for the Zune software on mobile handsets, according to AdWeek.

This probably means Microsoft is gearing up to re-launch Zune as the preferred media software for Windows Mobile, something Steve Ballmer has previously hinted at.

Then again, something as large as Microsoft doesn’t audition 3 ad companies simply to launch the Zune app on old Windows Mobile handsets so this could point towards something new coming from Microsoft perhaps.
