Apparently precentral believe the Palm Pre smartphone is the perfect smartphone for Twitter, which may be true and may well be not true, as most smartphone can use Twitter anyway.

However they go on to state that the Palm Pre has a real physical keyboard (so do others), has non intrusive notifications which can be pushed out by Mojo Messaging service, the Palm Pre SDK uses HTML, Javascript and Ajax with deep access to the OS which is more than enough for every Twitter feature.

That’s fine but all this sounds like to me is a Palm Pre fan site saying the Palm Pre can access Twitter, which is good if we ever get to see the Palm Pre out in public hands that is. Thing is, I have a G1 and it can Twitter, the iPhone can Twitter and so can a great many other handsets so what’s the big deal here?
