The word is Research In Motion and Verizon Wireless are finally getting things into gear with the BlackBerry Storm 2 as Crackberry reports the BlackBerry Storm 2 retail mockup unit appearing on Verizon’s inventory system.

The snapshot of the Verizon inventory system also seems to confirm the rumoured 9550 model number for the Storm 2 is the read thing.

So it appears Verizon store will be seeing BlackBerry Storm 2 dummies quite soon leading to us believing working units will be seeing launch in the not too distant future, however it is still early days and even device model numbers can change before actual launch.
