Apparently according to an article over on phandroid, the Android packing Samsung Galaxy is doing quite well in Europe and Samsung has apparently shifted some 100,000 Samsung Galaxy handsets in one month after its launch.

Not as many as the iPhone granted but still a good quantity of Samsung Galaxy handsets when you realise we are talking about just one Android smartphone; obviously if you counted all Android based handsets together it would be approaching that iPhone sales figure no doubt.

100.000 Samsung Galaxy handsets is a respectable number to shift in a month considering the newness of the Android Platform, so maybe those rumours of Android becoming the dominate platform may yet come true.
