AT&T gone too far by enlisting employees to lobby against Net Neutrality

AT&T oppose the FCC’s new proposal of Net neutrality regulations and apparently advocacy groups have stated AT&T has gone too far in their lobbying efforts reports an article over on Cnet.

Apparently Jim Cicconi, AT&T’s top lobbyist, this week send a memo to managers urging them to encourage friends and family “to join the voices telling the FCC not to regulate the Internet.”

The battle over Net neutrality has heated up when the FCC started things off on a process which will make the FCC’s existing open internet principles into official regulation, with AT&T being one of the biggest opponents to the new regulation; for the complete article hit up the link.
