Nokia 6700 Slide Specs, Release Date and Price

Earlier today we mentioned about the all new Nokia 6700 Slide and the Nokia 7230 which you can read about here, well shall we say a little bit more about the Nokia 6700 Slide specs, release date and price shall we!

The Nokia 6700 was announced this morning and is apparently according to mirror.co.uk very good for taking pictures and shooting pictures and even better for sharing the later. This handset comes equipped with a cool 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, built-in image editing software, sharing functions straight from the camera menu and a nice 2.2 inch screen.

The Nokia 6700 Slide has a very nice aluminium casing and HSUPA for ultra-quick uploads, plus HSDPA for fast downloads, the part we like is the fact you will get around 29 hours of battery life whilst playing back music and around 12 hours standby and around four hours talk time, this device also comes with an FM radio and runs the Symbian S60 OS which yes it means it can run apps.

The Nokia 6700 Slide will cost £144 before tax and the release date will be March 2010, is this the phone you have been waiting for, or is it just another ordinary mobile phone that does not even tickle your fancy. Check out some awesome pictures over at Electric Pig
