CTIA 2010: 4G VoIP services for Android mobile devices

Beceem Communications a leading provider of 4G semiconductor solutions and also D2 technologies a leading provider of embedded IP communications software platforms have made an announcement.

According to a report over at prnewswire.com the companies have announced the availability of a reference design for Android mobile phone devices that will deliver 4G VoIP services.

The service will provide multi radio and multi standard call handover between the 4G and 3G networks. There will be live demo’s of this platform will be shown at this weeks CTIA trade show.
