BlackBerry Bold 9650 Approved by FCC

One week ago, Research In Motion went official with the announcement of the new BlackBerry Bold 9650 smartphone, well now according to an article over on unwired view, the BlackBerry Bold 9650 has gained approval from the FCC.

This means the BlackBerry Bold 9650 sporting the ID number L6ARCS70CW is another step closer to seeing its launch which will be available in the United States on both Verizon Wireless which could possible by the 27th of May and Sprint beginning on the 23rd of May commanding a price tag of $199 on contract, as reported (here).

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 has also been known as the BlackBerry Essex and Blackberry Tour 2, features a 480 x 360 pixel display, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, GSM/HSDPA and CDMA/EV-DO connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, optical trackpad, GPS, and 3.5mm jack.

Furthermore it looks like the BlackBerry Bold 9650 will also see launch in South Korea sometime later in the year as they have found a Korean user manual for the BlackBerry Bold 9650.
