Maybe it is better to wait a bit on this phone.

I remember when Microsoft released its Kin phones. They were expensive at first. But after a few weeks, Best Buy put them on the discount rack.

All I can say is please do not buy an HD2, I have one and it a nightmare to use. all the other guys in my office have one too and nobody can get on with them. Never again… anything must be better. I've had it a month and i hate it.
shocking: battery life, screen invisible in sunlight, typing slow and error ridden, confusing interfaces, if you read messages in inbox mode the text and tiny and cannot be resized. Browsing slow, occasional freezing, have to hit it to get screen to rotate, battery runs down overnight. This is not the future of phones. Luckily its a work freebee, but so annoying and clunky to use, never sure when its online or not, cant use a stylus with it, so a nightmare when browsing, try and click a button on a webpage, no chance… ITS RUBBISH !!

I really think you people are just blowing smoke about the HTC-HD2 LEO
I’ve had mine now for more than two years
I can honestly say without hesitation
    I never had a problem I didn’t cause!
This is the most versatile phone maybe ever…
My phone never died got hot lost data or anything,,I was able to experiment with different roms and everything..May not be the best phone out there,But I think your crazy if you think this phone is trash,
I had a full upgrade, thought i would take advantage and give the Galaxy S2 a whirl,
When it comes tomorrow, regardless of how it operates, I won’t get rid of my Leo.
