Redsn0w Update for Jailbroken iOS 4.2.1 Apps Released

Things move along swiftly in the world of the iPhone and now the iPhone Dev Team has released a Redsn0w update for iOS 4.2.1 Gold Master which delivers SSH and SSL support.

According to an article over on Redmond Pie by Taimur Asad, SSH and SSL support in Redsn0w 0.9.6b3 for iOS 4.2.1 now enables the user to install packages and bundles independent of Cydia.

Apparently the updated Redsn0w release is targeted towards developers that wish to get their jailbreak apps up to scratch and ready for the release of Apple iOS 4.2.1, and instructions to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 GM is similar to the previous release.

The guys do note that all iPhone unlockers need to keep clear of Redsn0w and that Redsn0w 0.9.6b3 only supports tethered jailbreak.
