If you are a role-play gamer and enjoy playing the new Skyrim game and are one of the Android faithful out there, there is a little Android app available that enables the user to discover remote locations around the province of Skyrim from the Elder Scrolls saga, and is simply called Skyrim Maps.

With the Skyrim Maps app for Android devices is a social Skyrim Maps that allows the user to share an undiscovered spot in Skyrim they may have stumbled upon and features a geolocator for the instant submission of coordinates of your newly discovered location.

There is also has a complete map of Oblivion and Shivering Isles by searching the Android Market for Tamriel Maps.

Skyrim Maps for Android unfortunately only contains a few locations at the moment however in the next release, more locations will be added and will be filled up thanks to user contributions as they share newly discovered locations via the geolocator.

For those that own an Android Honeycomb tablet apparently the Skyrim Maps for Android app also works quite well on the slates. Skyrim Maps are online so it is advisable to use a WiFi connection.
