Unique & exclusive apps for Nokia Lumia phones

If you happen to own a Nokia Lumia smartphone it appears there will be a quantity of new and exclusive mobile apps becoming available to the Nokia Lumia range of handsets, as during CTIA 2012 in New Orleans, Nokia announced several new and exclusive app partnerships.

Thus Nokia has announced that the PGA Tour app will be exclusive to Nokia Lumia devices for a period of 12-months from launch beginning late June, enabling PGA fans to follow the tournaments via their Windows Phone along with interactive augmented coverage of of select events and holes.

Also exclusive to Nokia Lumia until May 2013 is the ESPN app, with the exclusive ESPN Hub delivering a number of key updates over the coming months, including team level panoramas, sports scores on Live Tiles, leagues and teams, personalisation of scores, and more, and also a Windows Phone version of the ESPN Fantasy Football app will launch exclusively for Nokia Lumia devices this fall.

As for games, Windows Phone and Nokia Lumia device will gain Angry Birds Space, and all future Rovio titles as soon as possible, whilst EA Games will be bringing such games as FIFA, Madden NFL, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, Yahtzee, NBA Jam, and Mirror’s Edge to the Windows Phone platform and Nokia Lumia devices.

Nokia has also said that the Groupon app will be exclusive to Lumia devices for 6-months from launch, whilst the Tripdots app will be exclusive to Windows Phone customers for 3-months from launch, and the PayPal app will be coming to Windows Phone and Lumia devices.

Other mobile apps coming to Windows Phone include the Time Magazine app, Newsweek — The Daily Beast app, and the Box app for Windows Phone.
