Google+ iPhone app sensor-rich update

For the iOS faithful out there that use Google+ the Google guys have now updated the Google+ iPhone app, as according to the guys they are embracing the sensor rich smartphone, and as such are transforming Google+ into something more expressive and intimate.

According to the Official Google Blog, the new iPhone app is an important step towards a more beautiful and simpler Google, and want the Google+ experience to have content that is so immersive it turns your smartphone into a rich carousel of breaking news and memories.

As such the Google guys have put special attention into performance and fun in the iOS app update, which is rolling out right now, and brings such things as, conversations fall into view as the user moves forward and back in time, with optical cues such as paralax, and actions such as +1 now float atop the stream.

The Google+ app for iPhone version 2.0.0.5888 now delivers a new stream and navigation experience along with several performance improvements and numerous bug fixes.

For those iOS faithful out there that haven’t yet grabbed the updated Google+ iOS app you can do so right now by heading on over to iTunes, and as for the Android faithful, well the guys say an updated Android Google+ app will arrive in a few weeks time and will have a few extra surprises for users.
