New Summer Vertu Constellation Candy collection phones

The team here on Phones Review like to keep our readers up to date will all things to do with mobile phones and tablet PCs, and today we have news of the new Summer Vertu Constellation Candy collection phones.

Normally when Vertu announce they have a new collection of handsets it means they are just releasing a new trim, or as GSM Arena are reporting this time around some new colours, which is to freshen up its already established range.

This new collection features three colours that come under the Candy moniker, with Candy Mint Green, Candy Raspberry, and Candy Tangerine. The company is claiming that these are the must have colours for the summer, and they will all come with the highest quality gem stones and alligator skin.

The Constellation series was first introduced in 2006 and at that time touchscreens were not as popular as today, and handsets relied on the dated S40 user interface that focused on looks. Then in October of last year the company revamped the range with the handsets getting a full touch display and the Symbian operating system, and while the OS was becoming extinct even then owners of the handsets were probably not too concerned by it.

The later Constellation series were based on the once popular Nokia C7 with a 3.5-inch AMOLED display with 32GB of on-board storage, and an eight megapixel fixed focus camera that featured 720p video capture. Consumers purchasing one of these mobiles also receive invitations to a variety of Fashion week shows.

Each of the handsets also come with a number of Vertu services that includes Vertu Club Access, Vertu City Brief, Vertu Concierge, Vertu Concierge Live, Vertu.Me, and Vertu Select that have been designed to make the owners social and travel life a bit better. The Constellation Candy phone collection is available in China, EU, Hong Kong, India, Macau, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, Ukraine, UAE, and Vietnam.
