TELUS Android ICS 4.0 schedule list updated

Many owners of hardware on the Android platform will be busy wondering if their device will ever be updated to the newest version of the platforms operating system, and today we have news for users of Canada’s TELUS network as the carrier updates its Android ICS 4.0 schedule list.

Subscribers of the carrier that own the Samsung Galaxy S2 X have already been treated to the update, and now as the Android Authority are reporting Canadian carrier TELUS has updated its official website with a new Android ICS update list, which is aimed to let users now when their device might see some Ice Cream Sandwich love.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray is listed as still having the software tested by the carrier, but there has been many reports of owners already receiving the new operating system ahead of schedule. The much loved Samsung Galaxy Note is next down to get Android ICS on July 13th, which isn’t too far away.

There are a number of other devices due to receive the new software the same month, which begins with the LG Optimus LTE that is down for the middle of the month. While the HTC Desire HD is down to receive the update on July 25th, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is listed as late July.

Strangely owners of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 have a little while longer to wait for their Ice Cream Sandwich treat, as the software is down to arrive on their device in August. Hopefully some of these devices will get their Android 4.0 upgrade from the carrier sooner than scheduled as well, and if you own one of the listed devices and receive the update early let us know in the comments section below.
