The MLB.com At Bat application is the official app of Major League baseball that is available for owners of the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Users can get to see the Free Game of the Day or access their MLB.TV premium subscription to gain access every out of market game.

Users can see pivotal moments and key plays from every game via Live Look-Ins with no blackout restrictions. MLB.TV Premium subscribers can access archived games to see every game from 2011 and 2012 on demand. There is also home and away radio broadcast, in progress video highlights, condensed games, breaking news, stats, schedules, rosters, and standings.

There is the option for users to customize the applications home screen to feature their favourite team on the iPhone, and the enhanced video library is searchable by team, player, keyword, and player.

Push notifications can be customized for game start, end and video highlight availability on the iPhone version, and once purchased on one iOS device users can download the app on another supported iOS device and Restore.

Users can access the app for the entire 2012 season for $9.99 or subscribe for $2.99 per month, with users being billed every thirty days until the subscription is cancelled. The recent update has brought Ford SYNC integration that is compatible with Ford’s voice activation technology.
