HTC February revenue down again

#

HTC has today announced its unaudited revenue figures for February 2014, revealing consolidated revenue of NT$7.2 billion ($238 million) and total consolidated revenue for the year so far of NT$16.9 billion ($558 million).

The figure represents a month-on-month decrease of 25.29 percent, and a year-on-year decrease of 36.45 percent. HTC must now earn at least NT$17.1 billion in March if it’s to reach its NT$34-36 billion revenue prediction for the first quarter.

Looking further ahead, the struggling manufacturer is preparing to launch its new high-end smartphone, the 2014 HTC One and will be hoping the new flagship, arriving March 25, together with a few new mid-range offerings like the Desire 610 and 816, will help reverse its fortunes going further into 2014.

Can HTC pull this one back? the once formidable Android king is now on very shaky ropes, we here at Phones Review hope that they can turn around their fortunes.
