LG G3 release set for display game changer

#

The smartphone world looks set to be in for some nice treats during 2014 in terms of high specification hardware, and there is growing evidence that the LG G3 release is set for a screen game changer.

Over the last few weeks more so called evidence has emerged that the LG G3 launch will bring a handset with a QHD or 2K resolution touchscreen display. Now some more sources are again claiming that the LG G3 will feature a 5.5-inch display at a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440.

This works out at an astonishing pixel density of 534ppi which is the highest of any handset that is currently available to consumers. The same source is also claiming that the LG G3 will have some software features that will offer users “advanced personalization”.

These latest LG G3 rumours are coupled with talk we heard previously that the device will have some form of dust and waterproofing. The handset could seriously offer some competition to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S5, and has been rumoured to arrive as early as June.

If these rumours are accurate will you get the LG G3?

I was keen on the g3 till I heard they will me using a in house cpu. My experience with Samsung say this is a bad thing. So I’m not interested anymore

That’s not even confirmed, that’s just guesses. It’s much more likely that it will run SnapDragon 805. Unlike the QHD display thing, there is yet to be any evidence supporting an in-house cpu.

I am definitely holding off buying the Z2 or HTC M8 until I hear more about the G3. If the rumours are true then I will be making my first LG purchase..
