The HTC Desire 816 released earlier this year and has recently been followed by the Desire 816G variant, which comes at a lower price. Price
The pricing for these two phones varies by region but the Desire 816G is the cheaper of the two as you would expect. As a guide we’ll give you the price for India where dual SIM phones are prevalent. The Desire 816 was launched at Rs. 23,990 while the Desire 816G launched at Rs. 18,990. Both phones also have 3.5mm audio jacks, FM radio, and stereo speakers, and as they run the same operating system versions they have the same sorts of features. They also have the same design style so it’s difficult to choose between them on this score. As for specs they obviously have many similarities but a few key differences.

The Desire 816 has a faster processor, more RAM, a higher level of expandable storage, and DLNA support, What it really comes down to is whether you feel the Desire 816 is worth the extra money (whatever that amounts to in your region) over the 816G considering the benefits on offer.
