Instagram for Android April 11 update: must read

I’m sure everyone knows that the most popular mobile application to become available from Google Play recently is the Instagram photography app for Android, the Instagram for Android app gaining one million downloads in under a day when initially released, and that figure continues to rapidly grow.

The Instagram for Android app has already received two updates since launch, and now the application has apparently received yet another update, this time delivering support for mobile devices that feature Tegra 3, and including the newest smartphone from HTC, the Android Ice Cream Sandwich packing HTC One X.

The Instagram photography app for Android latest update also includes bug fixes for Android tablet users, along with fixing Instagram photos that were not showing in the gallery, better support for Tegra 3 handsets and tablets, increased support for Instagram built in filters and cameras, and the location for photo geotag is updated more often.

For those Android faithful that haven’t yet grabbed the Instagram app, the application transforms everyday moments into works of art by using filtered effects and enables the user to share those images in a simple photo stream with friends along with following friends, and sharing to such social networks as Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare and Tumblr.

So if you haven’t yet jumped aboard the Instagram for Android craze, you can of course grab the application as a free download from Google Play. Have you got Instagram for Android yet?
