Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 US Carrier Details and Videos

Sony Ericsson held a press event the other day to demo their upcoming first Android smartphone, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 and during said event some interesting details on the X10 have emerged, such as US carrier.

Apparently the XPERIA X10 page has now been updated with specs including networks, GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSPA 800/850/900/1700/1900/2100, which are compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile.

However it does look like AT&T will carry the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 due to the next piece of info dropping the 1700 band which T-Mobile required for their 3G…UMTS HSPA 900/1700 not available for phones sold in Americas; thus the XPERIA X10 should be going to AT&T.

Other small details emerged like the inclusion of Google Maps and Wisepilot turn by turn navigation. We have a couple of videos for your viewing pleasure below courtesy of phandroid, one is the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 event and the other a hands-on with the handset.
