AT&T has strange looking Sammy phone husk

Under: Mobile Phones, News, Samsung Date: September 21st, 2008

Yes it’s that time of year again when AT&T customers can get all excited, its dummy handsets time, and this time AT&T have the empty husks of a Nokia 6650 and 2600 classic.

AT&T stores are also showing up a curious looking Samsung husk that is said to be the Samsung a637.

Samsung has gone over virtually every known design direction and form factor, but do you think this translucent while-pill Sammy candy-bar look fresh?

It looks to us like this is in the low end GoPhone area and if you covered up the Sammy logo it could pass for a Pantech or even a Huawei rather than a Samsung.
