LG doesn’t usually bother with the smartphone arena; they are more your fashion conscious manufacturer, however, a report from Telecoms Korea is saying that LG may just be taking a step into the smartphone market next year.

It seems that LG have finally realised they need to start producing smartphones to keep up with market influences, and it is rumoured that LG plans to release over ten new smartphones in 2009.

The word is one of these LG smartphone is to be Windows Mobile based while LG is also considering Linux and Symbian as other options, but will only take these options it the market calls for them. Furthermore it is rumoured that LG intent to make these new smartphones “million Sellers.”
