BlackBerry Storm (RIM) Verizon full cost break-down

Research in Motion (RIM) BlackBerry Storm will cost you $249.99 with a two year contract on Verizon, as an added bonus you get $50 mail-in rebate giving you a final price of $199.99, if you opt for a 1 year contract with your BlackBerry Storm you will be paying $349.99 or month-to-month at $399.99.

Don’t forget you also need to buy a monthly application data plan, if you just want Data with your BlackBerry Storm, Verizon will charge you a minimum of $49.99 a month, if you want voice and data you need to hand over at least $69.99 which amounts to $39.99 for a 450 minute voice plan and $29.99 for the personal data plan. If you do go for the Verizon voice and data plan for your Storm then you will get full email and web support but does not include text (SMS) So…

You now have to buy a separate SMS messaging bundle for your Verizon BlackBerry Storm, these will set you back from $5 to $20 a month depending on your required usage.

So make sure you check out exactly what you are paying for you fully operational BlackBerry Storm, would be a good idea to check out what you think you will be using with SMS and data before signing up, so you don’t get over or undersold on the data packages.
