RIM BlackBerry Bold CDMA version coming to Sprint?

Under: BlackBerry, News Date: January 3rd, 2009

The latest word on the RIM BlackBerry Bold from is that according to sources, Sprint is to replace their BlackBerry 8830 with a CDMA version of the BlackBerry Bold this quarter.

This move by Sprint makes sense as the BlackBerry Bold is essentially the replacement for the Blackberry 8800 series. Some may be a bit peeved though, especially those who prefer the 8830’s camera-less feature.

The whisper is the Sprint BlackBerry Bold will have EV-DO REV.A, a revised UI for Sprint’s corporate branding, and more memory. Nothing conclusive on this rumour as ye though, but as soon as we hear confirmation we’ll let you know.
