Apparently the AT&T BlackBerry Bold is to receive a patch, OS 4.6.0.219 which has a placeholder for a visual voicemail application, something similar to that of the Verizon BlackBerry Storm.
Third party app have been filling this gap for quite some time so it will be fairly nice and welcomed if the BlackBerry Bold does indeed receive a visual voicemail app.
Other than that small tidbit of update news there are first leads about the Applications Centre whereby BlackBerry owners can download a wide and varying range of apps such as Facebook and GTalk along with paid apps like navigation. One downer though is the word is the Applications Centre will provide web links rather than integrate downloading options.
