It appears Scottish company Picsel Technologies claim their technologies are in some 250 million mobile phones worldwide and include manufacturers such as Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Palm and Motorola.
And apparently Apple also use Picsel Technologies tech as Picsel have filed a lawsuit against Apple saying the Apple iPhone infringes on a patent method of accelerated screen updating.
Which no doubt means either Apple will be taking a trip to their bank and dishing out a bundle of cash to Picsel or, which is more than likely, Apple will again bring their big boy legal team into play, guess we’ll just have to wait and see on this one.
