Nokia 5800 XpressMusic NAM pulled from flagship stores by Nokia

Under: Mobile Phones, Nokia Date: March 2nd, 2009

Didn’t the United States only just see the launch of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic NAM in Nokia stores? Well apparently there must be something wrong as so soon after Nokia launches the 5800 NAM, they stop.

That’s right, Nokia has now decided to pull the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic NAM from shelves at the Nokia flagship store in New York.

Now that’s a fairly big move so soon after launch, but apparently the reason is the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic NAM handsets appear to be lacking any 3G and thus quite a few have already been returned. One can only assume Nokia will hold off sell any more stock until the 5800 is repaired and that all important 3G is sorted.
